Learning to walk

In YC106 two friends decided enough was enough and created something of their own.

Maestro Ta'rai and Do'rok Zero formed the Phaze-9 Corporation, the beginning of a strange partnership, these supposed enemies shared a path that would eventually lead to peace and prosperity. Do'rok, your seemingly typical Caldari war making money machine met Maestro in a bar. Loose women, loose wallets and a feeling that something was missing had been a part of both lives for many decades, and after meeting a year previously in Curse they soon formed a bond.

Phaze-9 soon rose to the ranks of elite within the Caldari State and from that central point began its conquest of industry through stolen Jovian Technology. The corporations Partial Organic Vehicles (POVs) became synonymous with wealth and power. Due to security problems involving rogue Jove factions the corporation was mothballed for a period known only as 'The Vanishing'. Both settled into relative obscurity in UNF, at the time a sanctioned Caldari State tax free enterprise whilst state officials, money lenders and some of the more dubious aspect of society tried in vain to track down the two pilots. Investigations that followed during these months learnt about a man known only as 'The Wolf'.

A seedy gentleman of undisclosed origins whos tales were told to pod pilot children to scare them into good behaviour. The Wolf is reported as being behind several hostile takeovers of Jove Corporations and has been linked to at least three deaths involving prominent Corporation executives. During this time Maestro Ta'rai seemingly died under mysterious circumstances in the early months of YC107. Details of his death are few and far between, rumours of Demonic fridges do nothing to help these stories face hard facts.

Prior to his death the corporation is handed in total to a stranger known only as Ulv. Do'rok held silence and refused to comment to various legal boards of inquiry when asked what he knew of these acts and has to this day never said a word to anyone about this time. Ulv later that year, changed his name to one Maestro Ulv in what he claimed as 'In honour of a great man, the founder of this Corporation' and starts Phaze-9 on a new path.
